Samer invited to World Bank workshop on urban land management

Samer has been invited by the World Bank office in Saudi Arabia to participate in a workshop with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs in Riyadh on 12 May 2015.

In the context of the Technical Cooperation Program with the Government of Saudi Arabia, the World Bank proposes a joint workshop with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs on urban land management policies and practices. The workshop would serve as the culmination of advisory services by the World Bank to MoMRA on how to unlock developable vacant land within urban development boundaries. The proposal for this workshop follows from the recommendation of H.E. Dr. Abdulrahman Al Shaikh, Deputy Minister for Municipal and Rural Affairs, during the World Bank mission in November 2014.

Samer will address issues around global and regional experiences in best practice.
